Copy Cat

Bill, from Poop and Boogies, started the day with a shameless ploy for attention. He claims to blog for the love of it, but basically he is just a comment-seeking whiner. He has been unhappy with his site lately, and needed a little pick me up. I can’t believe that he would stoop to such levels. I am even more in shock at the response from you readers. He has had more action in three hours than he has had in the past week.

This got me to thinking. I should copy Bill’s idea. Hey people, can you comment on my site and tell me where you are from, and stuff? I need attention, and I want you people to show me the love. Thanks in advance for your support.

I found your blog because you used to comment on mine. But now you don't because you don't want me to get any more attention. I am from the same place as you...Mom and Dad.
I think you should post more about how cute you kids are and how much you love your wife.

Oh and three nipples, post a story about your borther with three nipples.

Commenting to show you some love from the Bayou State. Now if you guys could just get your mom to blog that would be the bomb.

Hi John *waving*

I found your blog through Poop & Boogies because that is the better blog. SORRY!!!

I'm from Jersey, work in Philly and used to live in Willow Grove. Near the stomping grounds of the LW and P&B.

You do have good stories to tell. Don't let William tell you otherwise.

Have a great Turkey day

Hi LW!!!
I too found you through P&B. I enjoy both of your blogs, but I must admit that I check out William's first and then link off of his to yours. You've gotta be more regular at blogging, then maybe you'll become the first one I go to!

PS - I agree with Deneen, Momo 9 definately needs her own blog! You RAWK Momo9!

Hi, LW. I comment semi-regularly, so I'll just say hi. Sometimes I like your blog better than Poop & Boogies. (Sorry, William.) You're a little more sarcastic and I think it's funny. Keep up the great work! I'm from North Jersey.

Happy Turkey Day to the LW family!

Found you through your brother. Am from Idaho. My fave post was (I think) the one with the rabbits in the lawn. The original one, complete with photos and all. You crack me up, but really I'm afraid William loves his wife and kids more than you do. At least he blogs about them (and everything else) more than you do. ;)

*NUDGE*

Yeah, it's on now. Heh heh heh.

Another lurker from Philly... I also found your blog through Poop & Boogies. I read it (as often as BlogRolling indicates that there is a new post up) for the male perspective, although your kiddos are quite a bit older than mine.

BTW, your story about remodeling your parents house? Had me in tears. I tried to read it to my hubby, but couldn't make it through intelligibly. He was in tears, too, but I'm still not sure if that was from your writing or from my reaction. Ahhh, good stuff!

HI!

I am originally from Central Canada. Saskatchewan to be precise. Prarie girl, through and through.

Then I met a guy on the internet (before it was how it is now) back in '88. We got married in '89 and I moved to this country. We have four kids and continue to raise them in this country, even though I want to go home.

I think Bill is funny (even though sometimes I wonder about his mental capabilities. He does some pretty dumb stuff!) but I think you are even funnier, sometimes. Some say you should write about your wife and kids more. It is YOUR blog, just because that is not all you write about, doesn't mean you don't love them and doesn't mean you should change anything. Use your blog how you want to! Pretty much ALL I ever write about is my kids, maybe that is why I only have about four regular readers:)

BTW, I love your one son's name. That is my oldest son's name. But I call him "Brain" on my blog. The one that starts with L, dunno if that is your oldest or youngest.

So there you go. I will be better about commenting. I found your blog through your brother's, and I found him through Very Zen. Can't remember HOW I found her.

Hi, there. Lurker from Kentucky. Mom to 2 boys, ages 5 and 3. Found you through your brother, who has 81 comments already to his de-lurking post. I have you in my Bloglines and read every time you update.

And I agree with the suggestion to get your mom to blog. She's too funny.

I am from Pa. Been reading your blog since the beginning.Encourage you to write more often. Remember, no matter what they say, you are older and wiser than William! He is what he is cause he looked up to you when he was younger. You were a great example! keep up the blogging. Happy Thanksgiving! You are one that I will be thinking of at the table tomorrow, as I give thanks. I love you. Kiss everyone for me.

I actually found your blog first through a link on somebody else's site. He was up for a "best of" something or other and was asking for votes. I thought you were funnier than that other guy, so I started reading you.

I live in Arizona and am married with two boys, one of whom is exactly like your youngest...down to his name. That makes me laugh because when I read about him, mine is very much alike. Also, the story of how the oldest hit the youngest in the head with a rock? Again, funny. I know, but I could hear my kids saying "you're too slow!" too.

Happy Thanksgiving. I'll shut up if you post more.

De-lurking to say Happy T-Day from the Great White North. I found your blog through P&B. I read yours first each day because I have to have everything alphabetized. I just like blogs that make me laugh.

Hi from Dallas! Found you through P&B. Yours are the only 2 I read. How's that for a compliment? :) I feel a little bad about lurking but you both are very funny! Love the stories! My mom told me about P&B, thought I might like it since I have a little one. I stay home with him, he's 19 months old. Happy Turkey Day!

I had Poop & Boogies on my blogroll first and because I read daily, was introduced to your wit and humor when you guest posted. I was one of the crowd that kept asking for you to get your own blog. Like I said over at P&B, you don't post enough! I love it when you do and am still waiting for your mom and Williams Brother to get blogs. You guys are all such a hoot!
I'm from CT.

ps...I hope you all have a safe and wonderful Happy Thanksgiving Day!

i'm here--found you through Bill when you started your blog...

I'm from Hamilton, Ontario, Canada--yes, you have cross-border readers here. Feel impressed!

Wait, I just glanced through the comments, I'm not your only Canadian reader...

I'm a frequent reader, when there's a new post, however, rarely comment (shy & quiet, never have anything to say)...

But all this has done is reinforced the fact that Momo9 should have her own post! I think you should have that as your next blog, I'm sure it would bring in more comments than you've ever had!

I'm StepBlog, I live in Tennessee, I'm from the Grove, and I thoroughly enjoy your blog.

That said, from reading these comments it sounds like you would be readerless were it not for the generosity of Poop and Boogies' link to you. I think you owe William an apology, and maybe like $50, to make up for your dissing of him.

I'm from Ohio and I found your blog through P&B - I love your blog, too, but you don't post as much so I don't check as much. I check P&B daily, but only check yours about once a week. If you started posting more often, I would read it more often! :)

Oh, and I seldom make comments on either blog, but I love reading them both.

Hello,

Dr.MOZ from Sonoma, CA here looking for great new blogs to add to our growing list. We heard about Poop and Boogies and thought it sounded like something we needed to check out!

Great blog, we'll be sure to include your link during the next update.

Sorry I am late to the gate for your little attention whore, copy-catter game. :P
I'm Lois Lane from Chicago. I read Dad vs. Dad much more often than I care to admit. It's like having sex with a rich ugly fat guy. Sure, it's kinda fun and a little creepy, but you'd never want your friends to know. I "found" your blog through the amazing and hysterical Poop and Boogies.
I like long walks on the beach... what exactly was it I was suppposed to say in this comment?
